With DowSil started to increase silicone price from Nov. 1 2020, marking the comprehensive price increasing in the whole market, silicone raw materials are short and hard to source now.

This market situation is quite out of expectation, especially the world economic is under passive effected by the Covid-19. However, will this situation last for long? Is Silicone Raw Material Market repeating the same situation in 2017~2018? It is hard for us to make a conclusion now, but we assume the shortage of silicone supply will at least last till Mid-Feb 2021, as Chinese Spring festival is coming at that time, it should be the stock-preparing period for oversea clients like former years.
